Bio ​

Hey!

My name is Peter Orgon, and I'm an independent SAP full-stack developer with experience in various roles as a developer, solution architect, Fiori UX specialist and a team lead. I`ve been working with SAP technologies since 2005. Currently I live in Vienna, Austria.

I started my SAP career as an ABAP developer, which I still enjoy a lot and keep doing at an expert level. Then I added specialization in SAP Workflow and SAP BW with emphasis on performance optimization. With the arrival of mobile and cloud technologies, I started to focus on JavasScript, SAPUI5, Node.js and integration of SAP applications with Mobile Devices using Cordova framework.

So far I have been involved in many projects and built various ABAP and SAPUI5 applications. The possibility to work with SAP Frontend and Backend technologies was a very satisfying experience and brought me a lot insights in the application development lifecycle and how to transform user ideas into a working application. I have worked in various industries, such as manufacturing, retail, energy production & distribution and public transportation.

I`m familiar with a broad range of technologies, including ABAP, SAPUI5/OpenUI5, Fiori Elements, SAP WorkZone (Fiori Launchpad), JavaScript, Node.js, SAC Widgets, UI5 Web Components, SAP BTP, SAP BAS, Cordova iOS & Android.

My main areas of interest are ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP) development and SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP) development. I`m also curious and trying to understand the innovations in the AI area and possible integrations with SAP ecosystem.
